The LASK team kicked off their preparations for the spring season on Monday with performance tests at the Raiffeisen Arena. The first on-field session will take place after their arrival at the training camp in Belek, Turkey, where they will also play the first of three friendly matches.
After a two-and-a-half-week break, the LASK professionals gathered for the first time in the new year on Monday morning at the Raiffeisen Arena to undergo various performance tests. The following day, the athletes took off in the early afternoon towards Antalya, with their arrival at the Maxx Royal Resort in Belek scheduled for Tuesday evening.
The first training session on the Turkish Riviera, where the black-and-white team will be based until January 17th, will take place on Wednesday morning. The training camp also includes the first of three friendly matches; the Linzers will face Hungarian first-division team Paksi FC at the training field of the Maxx Royal Resort one day before departure. The two other test matches will be held on January 21st against Admira Wacker and on January 26th against Union Gurten, both at the voestalpine Stadium in Pasching.
LASK travels to the training camp with a total of 24 outfield players and 4 goalkeepers, including new signings Samuel Adeniran, Mohamed Sanogo, and Ismaila Coulibaly. Recovering players like Andres Andrade, Moses Usor, Valon Berisha, Jerome Boateng, Lenny Pintor, and Alexis Tibidi are undergoing their rehabilitation training in Linz due to the available infrastructure, medical, and support services there.

We are very excited that it’s starting again. For the training camp, we decided to take only players who are currently match-fit. Additionally, it is incredibly important for us to bring our young players even closer to the team. Alongside the technical and tactical work on the field, we also want to use the training camp to grow even closer as a unit. We are happy that for the first time, we now have almost four weeks available to work on our ideas and principles leading up to the first competitive match. This time must be used in the best possible way to continue developing in all areas and to integrate the new players well.
