LASK goalkeeper Lukas Jungwirth will play for Admira Wacker in the upcoming season. The 20-year-old is moving to the second-division team in Lower Austria as a cooperative player.

As a homegrown player for the Athletiker, Jungwirth joined LASK in 2015 at the age of eleven. The goalkeeper received his entire youth training with the Black and Whites and made his professional debut in the second-highest division in July 2020 at the age of sixteen.

In the past season, Jungwirth made 21 appearances for LASK Amateure OÖ in the Regionalliga Mitte, keeping eight clean sheets. Additionally, the goalkeeper was also frequently included in the squad for the Austrian U21 national team. Jungwirth has a contract with LASK until summer 2026. From now on, he will play for Admira Wacker as a cooperative player.

This is a win-win situation for all parties involved. Lukas Jungwirth is a promising goalkeeping talent in whom we at LASK have full confidence. The past years have demonstrated that we are well-positioned in the goalkeeper position. As a cooperative player at Admira, he has an ideal opportunity to continue developing. We wish him the best in gaining valuable experience in the upcoming season.
