Another new addition strengthens the professional squad of LASK: French youth international Alexis Tibidi joins the Athletes until summer 2028. In the spring of 2024, the 20-year-old Frenchman was loaned to Manchester City.

The 1.87-meter tall offensive specialist primarily operates as a winger. Most recently, Tibidi, who represented his French club ESTAC Troyes in three Ligue 1 matches in 2023, was loaned to the English top club Manchester City, where he played for their U23 team in the spring. Prior to this, he played for Dutch club NEC Nijmegen and German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart, gaining experience from 13 Bundesliga appearances.

In Austria, Tibidi has already made a name for himself: during the autumn of 2022, the youngster scored five goals and provided one assist in 16 matches for SCR Altach. Additionally, the 20-year-old has World Cup experience: out of his four appearances for France's U20 national team, he played two matches at last year's World Cup in Argentina.

Now, LASK has secured the services of this versatile winger long-term, as Tibidi has signed a four-year contract extending until May 31, 2028.

With Alexis Tibidi, we are acquiring a technically gifted player who brings a lot of speed and dynamism. He has already gained valuable experience in the German Bundesliga, in France, in the Austrian Bundesliga, and most recently in Manchester City's U23 team, where he demonstrated his qualities multiple times. We are very pleased to have secured him for the long term at LASK.
