Goalkeeper Nikolas Polster is leaving LASK

Nikolas Polster is transferring within the domestic football Bundesliga from LASK to Carinthia. The goalkeeper will now wear the jersey of Wolfsberger AC.

The 22-year-old joined the Athletiker in the summer of 2020 from SK Rapid, subsequently making 25 appearances for FC Juniors OÖ in the 2nd League and nine matches for LASK Amateure OÖ in the Regionalliga Mitte. Additionally, Polster gained further match experience as a cooperative player with SK Vorwärts Steyr for six months and last year with SV Horn.

In September 2022, the goalkeeper also made his debut for the Austrian U21 national team. To date, Polster has played 15 games for the ÖFB squad, five of them in the European Championship qualification. Now, he is taking on a new challenge with Wolfsberger AC.
