Draw in Test Match Against SV Ried
During the international break, LASK used the opportunity for a friendly match against second-division side SV Guntamatic Ried. The Athletiker and the team from Innviertel drew 1-1 at the voestalpine Stadium in Pasching.
LASK controlled the first half of the match, which was played behind closed doors. After nearly 30 minutes, Queyrell Tchicamboud scored a remarkable opening goal: following quick one-touch play, the 19-year-old struck from a half-left position, curling the ball skillfully into the top far corner.
At halftime, all players except goalkeeper Tobias Schützenauer - who played the full 90 minutes - and Tchicamboud were substituted. Head coach Markus Schopp later replaced Tchicamboud midway through the second half with Emmanuel Michael, who had already featured before the break. Ried managed to equalize shortly before the final whistle, as Mark Grosse converted a penalty in the 80th minute to secure a 1-1 draw.
A total of 20 LASK players featured in the match. A particularly positive note: Andres Andrade made his comeback in the first half, returning to the pitch for the first time since suffering an ACL injury last summer.
